Mr. Umang Mohan is a Legal Analyst at TWL Law Group. He graduated with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, and is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bihar State Bar Council. Prior to joining the firm, he practised before the High Court of Judicature at Patna, where he gained experience in criminal litigation, legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.

During his litigation practice, Umang handled matters involving murder, attempt to murder, abetment to suicide, extortion, and excise and prohibition laws. He was responsible for drafting and arguing bail applications, preparing legal submissions, briefing senior counsel, conducting client consultations, and assisting in case strategy and preparation before the Court.

Umang has also developed a strong academic interest in environmental and regulatory law through specialised coursework and internships with the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench), WWF-India's Centre for Environmental Law, and the Enviro Legal Defence Firm, where he conducted legal research and assisted in matters involving environmental regulation and compliance.

At TWL Law Group, Umang supports the firm's cross-border legal practice through legal research, comparative legal research and cross-border regulatory analysis, contract review and regulatory advisory work. He has interests in foreign investment, commercial advisory, and the intersection of law, technology, and sustainable industrial development.
